Where We Work
The plateau is the route, not a detour
Sammamish is a scheduled stop every working day, so a morning call usually lands a same-day window rather than a slot next week.

Why us
Diagnostics you can check for yourself
Anyone can swap parts until a symptom disappears. The difference is turning up with meters, proving what failed, and being able to show you.
-
01
We measure before we quote
Manifold pressure on gas, amp draw on elements, actual cavity temperature against setpoint. A quote written off a symptom description is a guess, and guesses get billed to you twice.
-
02
Built for plateau kitchens
Most Sammamish Viking installs are panel-ready and boxed into custom cabinetry. We pull them, work them and set them back without marking the stiles — that is a skill, not an afterthought.
-
03
The common parts ride with us
Spark modules, igniters, bake and broil elements, evaporator fans, thermistors, door gaskets, drain pumps and wash-arm bearings. Roughly two in three repairs finish on the first visit.
-
04
We will tell you to stop
If a thirty-year-old unit needs a control board worth more than its replacement value, we say so on the spot. Talking someone out of a repair costs us a job and keeps the phone ringing.

Dishes came out wet and the cycle was running half again as long as it used to. The heating element had failed open and the vent flap was stuck shut. Both replaced on the one visit.
Sunil G.Sahalee
Yellow sooty flames on every burner and black marks on my kettle. He adjusted the air shutters and swapped two burner caps that had warped. A star off only because the caps took a week.
Holly N.Pine Lake
Wall oven ran seventy degrees cold and the display kept faulting out. He replaced the sensor, recalibrated it, and held a thermometer up for us before packing away. Two others had said replace it.

How a call runs
Three stops, no surprises in between
You know the price before anything is opened up, and you see the readings before we pack the van.
-
01
Tell us what it is doing
Model number off the door frame and a plain description of the fault. Half the diagnosis happens on that call — it decides which parts ride out to you.
-
02
Diagnose on site
Gas pressure, element resistance, sensor readings, board voltages. You get the actual cause and what failed upstream of it, in language that makes sense.
-
03
Repair, then prove it
The unit is run back up to spec and the readings are shown to you before we pack up. Nothing leaves on a promise that it should be fine now.
$89 service call, credited in full against the repair if you approve the work.
Field Notes
Work it out before you call us
Written from real Sammamish service calls. If one of these saves you a visit, that is a good week for both of us.
- 01 Viking Oven Runs Cold and Bakes Unevenly: Sensor, Element or Calibration A Viking oven that takes forever to preheat, sits below setpoint or browns one side of the tray is telling you something specific. How to separate a drifting temperature sensor, a failing element and a genuine calibration offset.
- 02 Viking Burner Clicks But Will Not Light: Read It Before You Buy Igniters A Viking sealed burner that sparks endlessly without catching is almost never a dead igniter. How to separate a wet burner cap, a blocked port, a weak spark module and a real gas-supply fault before you spend money.
Straight answers
Questions we get on the phone
If yours is not here, ask it when you call — we would rather answer it before dispatch than after.
How quickly can you get out to a Sammamish address?
Sammamish is on our daily plateau route, so a call placed before about 11am usually gets a same-day slot. Klahanie, Pine Lake, Sahalee and Trossachs are all inside the core loop and typically get the earliest windows.
My Viking burner clicks but will not light. Is that the igniter?
Usually not. If several burners click at once, or one clicks continuously with the knob off, the spark module or a wet burner cap is far more likely than a failed electrode. Replacing igniters one at a time is the classic expensive wrong turn on these ranges.
Do you work on built-in and panel-ready units?
Yes. Built-in refrigeration columns, panel-ready dishwashers, wall oven pairs and 36- to 60-inch professional ranges. Panel-ready installations are pulled and reset without damaging the surrounding cabinetry.
What does the service call cost, and is it credited?
The service call is a flat $89. It covers the visit and the full assessment, and it is credited in full against the repair if you approve the work. You get a firm number for parts and labour before anything is opened up.
When can I reach you, and how do I book a visit?
The phone is answered 24/7, so a Sunday-night breakdown is on the schedule before the morning. The technicians themselves work 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and that is when visits are carried out. If you would rather not talk it through, the online booking page takes the appliance, the fault and the window you want.
Do you carry Viking parts on the van?
We stock the common failure items — spark modules, igniters, bake and broil elements, evaporator fans, thermistors, door gaskets, drain pumps and wash-arm bearings. Sealed-system components and control boards are ordered to your specific model and serial.
Is it ever worth replacing instead of repairing?
Sometimes, and we will say so. A professional Viking range is built to be rebuilt and almost always worth fixing. A fifteen-year-old dishwasher needing a control board plus a pump is a different conversation, and we would rather have it honestly than sell you the repair.
